On Saturday 19th of October Brookfield Show Society will be hosting a FREE information session on First Aid for babies and toddlers by ParentMedic presenter/nurse Liz Hunter.
Liz will have 2 talks on that day in the Brookfield Members bar which will be transformed into a classroom for the occasion. The first one starts at 8am, the second at 9am. Each session will be no longer than 30 min in total.
The aim of these talks is to teach parents and carers of babies & toddlers some very important First Aid skills and in addition provide further info on health related questions parents/carers may have, e.g. in relation to immunisation or allergies. In these 2 sessions Liz will focus on how to deal with choking and what to do when you baby runs high fevers. These are the 2 biggest of the biggest fears of parents in her experience. There will also be an opportunity for Q&A on other subjects.
