Held from 22 to 24 May 2026 at the Brookfield Showgrounds, this historic event continues to delight visitors of all ages. Proudly organised by the not-for-profit Brookfield Show Society, the Show has been running in various forms for more than 115 years, making it a true cornerstone of the local community.

A Welcome Return to Friday Afternoon Opening
This year marks the return of a much-loved tradition, with the Show opening on Friday from 3pm.
For local equestrian competitors, Friday continues to feature the popular District Day, showcasing a full program of horse events. For visitors, the later start creates the perfect opportunity to enjoy a relaxed afternoon and evening at the Showgrounds.
Competition pavilions will be open, entertainment will be underway, and you can look forward to favourites such as the rodeo, live music and more to kick off the weekend.
A Full Weekend of Events and Entertainment
The Show continues across the weekend, with gates opening from 9am on both Saturday and Sunday. From agricultural displays and competitions to family-friendly entertainment, food, markets and live performances, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Whether you’re visiting for the rides, the exhibits, the animals or simply the atmosphere, the Brookfield Show offers a genuine country show experience right on Brisbane’s doorstep.
